Your Session

 All studio packages include a one hour photographic shoot. This allows for approximately 3 changes of clothing.  We can take a mixture of shots: the family group, individual portraits, siblings, parents, mother and daughter/s, father and son/s, whatever combination you like. 

We recommend families wanting black and white photographs, to wear all similar clothes – eg all in jeans and white t-shirts. For colour photographs bold bright colours work well – red, yellow, green, blue.  Avoid logos on clothing. 

Manicured or painted nails look great in photos.  If you are wearing makeup, apply it a little more heavily than usual. 

If children are being photographed, bring along their favourite toy, book, costume, blanket, hat, sporting equipment, musical instrument etc to personalise the session and make them feel more comfortable. We will guide you as to what looks will best suit your child and we will assist you through every step of the shoot. We are happy for you to bring along snacks and / or  drinks for your children if you need to.  Of course breastfeeding is welcome. 

For pregnancy shoots, we recommend booking to have your session approximately 4 - 6 weeks before your baby is due. 

Pictureart Photography does not offer location wedding photography, we specialise in portrait and corporate photography. However, you may choose to have some studio portraits taken in your wedding attire, which we would be more than happy to assist you with. 

Your family photo shoot is a great opportunity for a bit of family bonding and it’s heaps of fun. As families grow it is often hard to get everyone together at the same time – Pictureart offers weekend and evening appointments to cater for everyone (Please book early to avoid disappointment). 

For extra value, we have put together studio package prices. However if our packages do not suit your needs we would be happy to discuss this with you.

Following your session, your professionally worked images will be supplied to you on a CD. This allows you to choose the images you would like printed in your own time.  All photographic packages include a CD with all your professionally worked images to keep. There are no hidden costs.
